Arte Povera

Arte Povera: Homage to Amalfi ‘68, was an exhibit at the Philadelphia Museum of Art in the spring of 2019. The show celebrated the 50th anniversary of the artistic manifestation that took place for three days at the Arsenale dell Antica Reppublica in Amalfi, Italy in 1968. The course of contemporary art was forever changed in Italy after this exhibition and happening. The installation at the Philadelphia Museum of Art paid tribute tp the groundbreaking event and featured a number of works that were originally exhibited in Amaldfi, Italy, 50 years prior.
